What will you be doing?

This role involves managing large, complex projects across various technologies. The ideal candidate should excel both in team settings and independently. Projects typically last from 5 to 50 days, requiring adaptability to different demands and client expectations. The role includes both onsite and remote work, so travel to client sites is essential.

What will an average day look like?

• Effective planning and organization of work with strong attention to detail.
• Documenting hardware and software installations according to standards.
• Identifying and promoting additional products during client interactions.
• Acting as a technical escalation point and mentoring junior team members.
• Demonstrating expert technical knowledge in multiple technologies.

What skills and experience should you have?

The skills and knowledge of the candidate should cover the areas of setup, configuration, migration, and support for some or all the following products.

Strong Knowledge in the following:

• Microsoft 365 (All core components plus experience with security and compliance capabilities)
• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Identity (Entra ID), networks and security)
• Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and Windows Client OS.
• VMware or equivalent virtualisation technology.
• SAN and DAS storage solutions.

Some experience and knowledge of:

• Backup technologies (Veeam or similar)
• A minimum of 5-10 years technical experience in a similar position, desirably within another IT reseller.
• Can demonstrate experience of implementing complex infrastructure projects.
• Holds or is working towards professional qualification such as (AZ or MS certifications covering Azure or M365) MCSE, MCSA, VCP, or similar.
