Oh what a night!

A glamorous evening was held at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) for the 2016 Dorset Venus Awards Ceremony.
Tara Howard and the Venus team certainly know how to 'put on a do' and the evening proved to be an outstanding success. The inspirational finalists were represented in 15 different categories and Enhanced was privileged to sponsor the 'Company of the Year' category.
Simon White (CEO) and Gail Pilling, PR Manager & Brand Manager, were the last to announce the Enhanced winner. The finalists were Lush, Organix and Hoburne. As Gail said in her speech, this was one of the most difficult decisions Enhanced has had to make and in an ideal world there would have been 3 winners, however, after much deliberation Hoburne was crowned 'Company of the Year'.
Rosie Kennar, Chairman at Hoburne, said she was amazed and delighted to have won the award amongst such tough opposition and thanked Enhanced and Venus for their support and belief.
In a surprise announcement, Lush was honoured with the award of 'Outstanding Company of the Year' and Rowena Bird, Co-Founder of Lush and her team took to the stage to accept the award.
Annette D’Abreo, Managing Director of Ceuta HealthCare, and Enhanced’s 2015 Venus winner of ‘Female Director of the Year’, was the guest speaker for the evening and praised the work done by Venus and the importance of female talent in the workplace.
Hosted in 10 regions across the UK, Dorset 2016 marked the 25th Award Ceremony. Tara’s aim is to reach London and with her drive and determination, watch this space.
