40 local businesswomen experienced a very different type of networking when they were invited to attend the Women & Golf business event held at GolfCatcher, Bournemouth.

For nearly 30 years Women & Golf has provided women golfers with the latest in-depth news, reviews and information on instruction, equipment and fashion in what has become an increasingly stylish sport. Now the UK’s largest digital magazine of its type, it gives readers an opportunity to read articles on all aspects of the game.

Enhanced, IT Support and Solutions were delighted to be the sponsor of this unique event where attendees put their golfing prowess to the test. GolfCatcher is based in the heart of Bournemouth at the Iford Golf Centre. The golf centre boasts indoor simulator bays with the latest technology, The attendees experienced the GolfCatcher simulators first hand. Divided into bays the ladies had a tutorial, were challenged to hit closest to the pin, try their hand at the longest drive and see who could hit closest to the target. All overseen by the experts from GolfCatcher, Jamie Kinvig and Paul Barran.

“It was an absolute pleasure to sponsor the Women & Golf Networking Event using the GolfCatcher Simulators. We spent the morning learning the basics, playing competitive games and giving everyone an equal opportunity to build business relationships on the golf course.”

The morning, sponsored by Enhanced, organised by Women & Golf and hosted by GolfCatcher proved an enormous success.

“Golf is often seen as a primarily male-dominated sport and research suggests that the relationships made on the golf course result in some of the biggest business deals being made. Companies like Women & Golf challenge this idea and give women opportunities to join in. So, I was delighted to attend the Women & Golf networking event, sponsored by Enhanced, IT Support & Solutions. We met some amazing like-minded businesswomen. We learnt a lot about the sport and had a go on the GolfCatcher indoor simulators! It was a really inspiring day. Thank you to everyone involved.”
