Windows 7 Support

When Microsoft launched Windows 7 on 22 October 2009 they made a commitment to provide 10 years of product support.

When this 10-year period ends, Microsoft will discontinue Windows 7 support. The specific end of support day for Windows 7 is 14 January 2020.

With less than 12 months to go, we are strongly recommending businesses move to Windows 10 to avoid a situation where they require service or support that is no longer available.

After this time, technical assistance and automatic updates which help protect your PC will no longer be made available for the product.

Without updates from Windows, businesses could easily become vulnerable to the latest security threats. Unfortunately using a firewall and anti-virus is not sufficient protection against unpatched vulnerabilities, which hackers are quick to exploit.
